How to Install Aligned Elements Evaluation Copy

1. Check that your computer fulfill the SW Requirements.

2. Install the Aligned Elements Prerequisites and Core Application

3. Install and Activate the Aligned Elements Evaluation Package

Check Computer Software Requirements

Check that your computer fulfill the following SW Requirements for Aligned Elements:

• Operating Systems: Windows XP SP 2 or higher, MS Vista

• Microsoft Word: Word 2003 Professional SP 1 or higher, Word 2007 Professional

Install Aligned Elements Prerequisites and Core Application

Click on the "Install" button to download and install all Aligned Elements Prerequisites and the AE Core.

Note! When the dialog below appears, click "Cancel" and continue with "Install the Evaluation Copy".

Install the Evaluation Copy

Click on the "Install Demo" button to download and install the Evaluation Copy.

Note! The default user for the demo database has username "Admin" and password "Admin"! The password has to be changed at first login.

The Evaluation Copy runs in so called "Offline Mode" against a local database on your computer.
All projects created with the Evaluation Copy can later be transferred to a Production Server.

In "Offline Mode" the following functions are not available:

• Setting Snapshots

• Performing Reviews

• User Management

• Electronic Signatures

• Using Linked Projects

The following prerequisites are installed (if not already existing on your computer):

• Microsoft SQL Server Native Client

• NET Framework 2.0

• Microsoft Visual Studio 2005 Tools for Office Runtime

• Microsoft Visual Studio 2008 Report Viewer

• SQL Server Compact Edition 3.5

• Windows Installer 3.1

• MSXML 6.0 Parser and SDK

• Microsoft SQL Server 2005 Management Objects Collection

• Primo PDF Printer
